3M 69 Glass Cloth Electrical Tape with Silicone Adhesive is a high quality, high performance tape made from woven glass cloth coated on one side with a thermosetting, pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive.

This tape has excellent temperature resistance and can be used in environments between 0°C and 200°C.

The fibreglass backing has excellent mechanical strength and is also highly conformable to make taping around turns and irregular objects easier. It does not stretch (elongation at break of 5%) and resists rotting and shrinking while providing excellent stability.

This premium grade tape has a total thickness of 0.177mm and is white in colour. Dielectric breakdown is 3,000 volts.

3M 69 Glass Tape has been tested in accordance with a range of different international standards. It is flame retardant (UL 510), CSA Certified and ‎RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant.

• Reinsulating and repairing coils on mining machines.
• Splicing silicone-covered glass wire where splices require more abrasion resistance and mechanical strength than can be provided by silicone tapes Insulating Class “H” dry-type transformer leads.
• Insulating splices made on SA type wire in heat treat areas.
• Especially suited to high-temperature applications.
• Used in a variety of coil/transformer and motor applications, including an outer wrap for bobbin wound coils, banding arbor wound coils, lead pad hold down, end turn and lead anchor and connections.
