How to Use Starter Spray
Weicon Starter Spray is really quite easy to use. The information below gives a brief overview but we really do suggest making sure you also consult the instructions on the can, and the Safety Data Sheet, before use. It’s always better to work safe.
Using Starter Spray with Diesel Engines
No need to pre-heat the engine or use heater plugs when using our engine starter spray. Just shake the can and spray Starter Spray directly into the air inlet or onto the air filter, wait for a moment and start engine slowly. Repeat process if necessary.
Using Starter Spray with Petrol Engines
Ensure the ignition is turned off, shake can before use and spray directly into the air inlet or onto the air filter, wait for a moment and start engine. Do not use the choke or flood the carburettor. The same process should be followed for two-stroke, four-stroke or hobby engines.
Caution
Starter Spray is supplied in a pressurised container. It should be stored in a cool, dark place and protected from direct sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C and definitely do not use fire or flame. Please consult the Starter Spray Safety Data Sheet for more information on safe use and follow its guidance.
