Designed for very high temperature applications, our Ceramic Insulation Tape with Nickel Reinforcement is a high-quality thermal insulator.

This woven tape is made up of ceramic fibres with Nickel wire running through it. The result is a woven tape that has excellent heat resistance, good insulation properties and the ability to maintain high tensile strength at elevated temperatures.

This thermal tape will withstand continuous exposure to temperatures up to 1200°C.

It is white in colour and is chemically stable. It has excellent resistance to thermal shock, UV and weathering.

Typical Applications for Ceramic Insulation Tape.

This high heat insulation tape is usually chosen for use in very high temperature environments. Some of the more common uses for it include:

• Making high temperature woven gaskets.
• Door seals.
• High heat exhaust wraps.
• Lagging and pipe insulation applications.
• Protecting and insulating cables, hoses and wires
• As a reinforcing seam for all kinds of custom-made welding blankets, expansion joints, equipment covers and insulation shields.

Please note, this tape is not an electrical insulator due to the nickel wire reinforcement.
