High strength insulating, consolidating and finishing tape used in all kinds of electrical equipment.
Suitable for use in high temperature applications. 220°C rated for continuous use (electrical), 500°C short-term.
Used as a fire barrier and overwrap protection tape for power and communication cables.
Available in a large selection of thicknesses and widths.

Vidatape C Woven Fibreglass Tape is a electrical insulation tape manufactured from plain weave ‘E’ glass yarns. This tape combines excellent tensile strength, very high temperature resistance and solid dielectric strength. This tape is highly impregnable and compatible with most electrical varnishes and resins.

High Temperature Woven Electrical Tape.

Vidatape C Woven Glass Tape has a thermal class (IEC 60085) of 220°C making it suitable for use in Class H or Class C electrical applications. Maximum short-term temperature rating is 500°C.

Quality Construction for Consistent Performance.

Manufactured ‘E’ glass yarns, Vidatape C is supplied in loom state with a controlled organic size treatment on the glass yarns to limit filamentation during winding and application. The edges of Vidatape C are sewn to reduce fraying and make application easier.

Coloured Centre-Lines for Accurate Taping and Identification.

Each roll of Vidatape C is supplied with two coloured centrelines. These are used to identify the type of tape (two lines of the same colour denotes fibreglass in the Vidatape range) and as an application guide to ensure good, consistent 50% overlap.
