3M Scotch 233+ Masking Tape is a high quality grade of green masking tape used when you simply can’t compromise on quality. Sometimes known as fine line tape (a name typically associated with the the narrower sizes like 3mm) or green painter’s tape, Scotch 233+ has excellent transfer resistance, bleed through resistance and the ability to remove cleanly even after prolonged placement.
Scotch 233+ Masking Tape is instantly recognisable because of its distinctive green colour. This tape is highly conformable and can be accurately applied to tight turns and bends and is also used for air-brushing. Scotch 233+ removes cleanly, even after exposure to temperatures up to 121°C (for 30 minutes). It can be torn by hand yet has little stretch and excellent adhesion to a wide range of surface types.

FAQs
How long can the tape be left on?
Quite a while is the short answer. Personally, we’ve left it on painted gyprock and removed cleanly a month or so later. That said, less is best and we really can’t stress enough that many factors go into deciding how the adhesive will behave including temperature, humidity, paint type, surface type and more so it’s impossible to say for sure for every application.
Are other colours available?
Not of this particular grade, no. 3M Scotch 233+ is available just in its’ distinctive green.
Are shorter rolls available?
No.
