Klingersil C4400 Gasket Material is a universal style gasket fibre sheet designed for maximum versatility and safe, reliable sealing. Manufactured from Aramid Fibres with an NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) binder, this material has good pressure resistance and is compatible with most common fluids, gases and chemicals.

Available in a large selection of thickness, this sheet gasket is widely used in the water processing, food & beverage and chemical processing and storage industries and has the certifications to back it up. Amongst others, C4400 has been certified for Oxygen sealing (BAM approved), Gas sealing (DIN-DVGW) and use with food & water (KTW).

This quality, industrial grade gasket sheet has good creep resistance and a anti-stick finish on both sides. More information on its capabilities are included in the sections below.

High Performance Sealing.

C4400 has been engineered to perform reliably, in a range of different sealing environments. This material has good recovery (55%) and compressibility (11%). That said, minimum and maximum temperature and pressure ratings can be provided. These are summarised below:

Short-Term, Highly Reliant on Application Specific Factors.

Minimum Temperature: 200°C
Maximum Temperature: 400°C
Maximum Pressure: 65 BAR

Continuous, Generally Able to Be Achieved in Application.
Minimum Temperature: 100°C
Maximum Temperature: 175°C
Maximum Pressure: 40 BAR

Klingersil C4400 is highly compatible with many different fluids, gases and moderately aggressive chemicals. These include oils, water, steam, gases, salt solutions, fuels, alcohols, moderate organic and inorganic acids, hydrocarbons, lubricants and refrigerants.

• Germanischer Lloyd. Meets the technical requirements of BS 7531:2006 Grade AY.
• Fire-Safe acc. DIN EN ISO 10497.
• TA-Luft (Clean air) approval, tested in accordance with VDI 2440 at 200°C.
