Our Premium Quality Woven Fibreglass Cloth is designed for high temperature insulation. This cloth will withstand temperatures up to 540°C (1,000°F) and has exceptional physical strength.
This particular grade of fibreglass cloth is 2.77mm (0.109”) thick and has a loom stage finish). It is made in the USA utilising a plain weave method and has a loom stage finish.
These cloths are widely used for all kinds of heat protection and insulation applications. Typical examples include:
- Welding blankets and curtains.
- Insulation pads.
- Oil waste retaining.
- Pump covers.
- Wrapping of pipes, cables and hoses.
- Exhaust lagging.
Produced from pure fibreglass yarns, these high-performance insulation fabrics also offer very good resistance to sunlight, aging and solvents. They have excellent chemical resistance except for hydrofluoric and hot phosphoric acid and wet hydrogen chloride.
Fibreglass is known for its physical strength and these cloths utilise that. They have excellent resistance to abrasion and very good strength in both the warp (lengthwise along the roll) and weft/fill (across the roll) directions.
