Silicone N10 Neutral Cure Silicone Adhesive Sealant is a 1 part general purpose silicone designed for glazing and sealing applications that require long term reliability. This silicone is weathering and UV resistant and is not adversely affected by fluctuations between high and low temperatures. N10 Neutral Cure Silicone is non-slump and withstands temperatures between -62°C and 180°C.
N10 Neutral Cure Silicone adheres well to ceramics, aluminium, GRP, granite, concrete, glass, galvanised steel and many plastics. Once cured it will tolerate dynamic joint movement of up to 25%.

No. Paint will not stick to N10 Silicone.
About 5 minutes. Curing will begin once N10 Neutral Care Silicone is exposed to the moisture in the air and, since it has a skin over time of approximately 5 minutes (at 25°C and 50% relative humidity), this is about how long you have before issues arise. Please do note, this time will be reduced if working in higher humidity and/or higher temperatures. It will be extended if working in colder / lower humidity areas.
If you get to them before the silicone has cured (not just skinned over but actually cured), you’ll be able to remove them with mineral turpentine (though care should be taken not to damage the underlying surface if it is a little sensitive). If the silicone has cured, our Weicon Gasket Remover is a good option. We’ve used it more than once to remove old silicone and it’s generally performed quite well.
