Smoothing Agent 500ml

• Makes smoothing and cleaning Weicon elastic adhesive easy.

• Compatible with almost all Weicon Elastic Adhesives including Silicones, MS Polymers and Polyurethanes.

Our Smoothing Agent is a specially developed solution for when the appearance of an elastic bond or join matters. Based on a mixture of non-ionic surface activators, this easy to use liquid is applied directly to the adhesive sealant.

It should be used before the skin forms and will help provide a smooth surface finish.

Using the Smoothing Agent is simple. Shake the content. Spray the undiluted liquid generously onto the joint or a smoothing spatula and smooth the adhesive.

Pull off any protruding sealant and remove immediately. Wash off any redundant smoothing agent straightaway with clear water.

You can expect to use around 20ml – 40ml of smoothing agent per metre squared. The liquid itself is colourless and transparent.

Manufactured in Germany, our Smoothing Agent is compatible with Weicon Elastic Adhesives and Sealants (it may also be ok with other brands but this hasn’t been as tested). For more information on specific compatibility please refer to the Smoothing Agent TDS linked on this page.
