Vidatape P is known by many names; woven polyester tape, PET tape, terylene tape. It is distinguished by its orange-black-orange centre-lines and is soft, easy to handle and highly conformable. These distinctive central-lines also help with identifying the tape in your workshop and consistent, even application.

This quality electrical insulation tape is commonly used as a consolidating and finishing tape for electrical equipment rated up to Class F (155°C). It is made from polyester PET yarns that are braided to create a tape with very little stretch. Vidatape P has been heat set to limit the amount of shrinkage. That said, some linear shrinkage will occur when exposed to temperatures above 120°C.

Applications for Terylene Tape.

Woven Polyester Electrical Tapes are commonly used for hand taping of equipment that has a low to medium operating temperature. It is typically used for the consolidation or finishing or electric motor coils with a operating temperature classification of Class B (130°C) or Class F (155°C).
