Our Adhesive Spray for Detachable Joints is a specialised type of spray adhesive. This spray has been developed to allow for some repositioning of the parts after it has been applied and to allow them to come apart later when required. It is a repositionable spray adhesive that is particularly well suited to lightweight material bonding.

Manufactured by Weicon in Germany, this adhesive spray is widely used in Europe and around the world. It is particularly popular in the craft, hobby and DIY sectors as it is easy to use, works with most materials and highly reliable. It is also used for shop fit outs, trade show constructions, making signs, attaching labels, affixing artwork and more.

Our Adhesive Spray for Detachable Joints is colourless and will not soak through materials or cause discoloration. It does not leave a wavy surface the way some spray adhesives can when they are applied to thin materials.

This spray is also quite versatile in how it performs. If you need to be able to separate the materials later (e.g. if you’re attaching a temporary sign) spray just one side. Applying the spray to both surfaces being joined will create a permanent bond between them.

Our Adhesive Spray for Detachable Joints is ideally suited for joining paper, carboard, foils or other lightweight materials. For heavier duty bonding (like sticking rubber sheet to a wall) we suggest our Adhesive Spray or Adhesive Spray Extra Strong.

Our Adhesive Spray for Detachable Joints is supplied in 500ml cans. Each can is able to cover an area of approximately 13 square metres (depending on if you spray one or both sides) so it is quite economical.

It’s also very easy to use. Spray the surface (or surfaces) and allow to dry for about 10 minutes. Once the adhesive is no longer stringy, position the parts and apply pressure.
