  • Very strong adhesive with extremely high adhesive force.
  • Extended pot life for accurate positioning and slower cure time.
  • Viscous, self-levelling epoxy able to be used on a wide range of materials.
  • Easy-Mix System means there’s no complex measuring or manual mixing.

Our Easy-Mix N 50 Epoxy Adhesive is a professional-quality epoxy adhesive suitable for manufacturing, construction and repair work. This two-part Epoxy is extremely strong and able to create permanent, long lasting bonds between metals, plastics, fibre reinforced materials, ceramic, glass, stone and more.

Our Easy-Mix N 50 has an extended pot-life of around 45 minutes (depending on conditions) which gives you ample time to work with it, apply it and position the parts just right. Bonds made with this epoxy will achieve handling strength in about 120 minutes and can bear mechanical loads after about a day.

Manufactured by Weicon in Germany, this industrial-grade epoxy has several features and benefits that have led to its use in industries around the world. These include…

High Adhesive Force.

Easy-Mix N 50 is used for creating strong, permanent bonds. This industrial glue has been tested (in accordance with DIN 53283 standards) with a variety of materials. In these tests, mean shear strength ratings of 17N/mm² for sand-blasted steel and 11 N/mm² for rigid PVC were recorded.

Excellent Material Compatibility.

One of the reasons epoxy adhesives are so popular is that they work with a wide variety of materials. Easy-Mix N 50 is no different and boasts excellent versatility in the different types of surfaces and substrates it will work with. These include…

  • Active and Passive Metals – Including Steel, Stainless Steel, Brass, Copper, Aluminium, Nickel, Zinc and Bronze.
  • Many Types of Plastic – Including Fibreglass, Fibre Reinforced Grades, PVC, ABS, Nylon, Polycarbonate and more.
  • Wood and Wood Products.
  • Glass and Mirror Surfaces.
  • Ceramics and Tiles.
  • Stone and Brick.

Viscous and Self-Levelling Epoxy Glue.

Our Easy-Mix N 50 is a thick, viscous style of glue. It’s viscosity (once mixed) is listed as 7,500 mPas. This is getting up towards that of honey which usually has a viscosity of about 10,000 mPas. This thick nature makes Easy-Mix N 50 a great choice for bonding small items or bonding jobs that require high-precision application.

Weicon N50 Epoxy Adhesive is also a self-levelling glue. This is important for those looking to use it to fill small cavities or as an epoxy encapsulant for leads, wiring or cables.

Extended Pot Life and Cure Time.

Exact figures for how much time it will take to cure depend a lot on bonding conditions but, roughly speaking, you can expect 30% cure in around 120 minutes. 50% will take about 24 hours and it’s at that point that N 50 can bear mechanical loads. Full cure time is 72 hours.

Pot life of 10ml of N50 Epoxy Glue prepared at 20°C is around 45 minutes.

Easy to Use with No Complex Mixing.

The Weicon Easy-Mix Dosing System eradicates complex mixing and measuring and makes getting the right amount of glue, where you need it, simple.

Simply slot the container of N 50 Epoxy into a compatible dispensing pistol (we suggest the Weicon D 50) and attach the Quadro Mixing Nozzle (one is included with each container). That’s it. When you pull the trigger the two parts that make up N 50 Epoxy Glue will be mixed as they travel along the nozzle so that, by the time they reach the surface, you have a single homogenous adhesive.

Spare mixing nozzles are also available, and the gun works with a variety of our adhesives, so you can mix and match depending on your requirements.

Applications for N 50 Epoxy Adhesive
