Flex+Bond Liquid is a versatile adhesive sealant that is ideal for coating, casting and encapsulating work. Engineered by Weicon in Germany, this adhesive is based on MS Polymers and is completely free of silicones, solvents and isocyanates. It sticks to most materials and surfaces.
As a self-levelling liquid, Flex+Bond Liquid is very easy to work with. It can be used to create castings up to 10mm deep and cures to form a solid mass that has good flexibility. Once fully cured, it will handle movements in bonded joints of up to 10% and has a maximum elongation of 400%.
Flex+Bond Liquid is white in colour. Once cured, it can be painted over with liquid paint.
Skin-Over time for Flex+Bond Liquid is about 40 minutes while full curing will occur at a rate of about 2-3mm in the first 24 hours. This liquid adhesive sealant will withstand temperatures between -40°C and +80°C once cured (as well as short term spike to +120°C).

Before applying Flex+Bond Liquid, the surfaces must be clean and free of grease.
Many surface contaminants (such as oil, dust and dirt) can be cleaned with our Weicon Surface Cleaner. For heavily soiled metal surfaces we suggest our Weicon Cleaner Spray S. If you need to remove old paint or adhesive residues, our Sealant and Adhesive Remover is likely more suitable.
Mechanical roughening (e.g. sanding or sand-blasting) can considerably improve adhesion when bonding smooth surfaces.
