Our Mini Solar Cable Stripper No. 3 has been engineered to meet the needs of electricians working on solar installations and repairs. This tools is manufactured in Germany from high quality materials and has been specifically designed to handle the heavier insulation used on solar cables.

Our No. 3 Solar Stripper is able to quickly strip all common solar cables between 1.5mm² and 6mm² in size. It does this using two separate cable entries and blade spacings. One for cables between 1.5mm² and 2.5mm²; the other for cables between 4mm² and 6mm².

The adjustable length stop works with both cable entries and allows you to set the amount on insulation you’ll remove / conductor you will bare. This can be set between 6mm and 28mm in length.

As an added feature, our Mini Solar Cable Stripper No. 3 has a side cutter in the middle of the tool near the back hinge. This can be used to cut cables up to 4mm² cross section.

This solar cable stripping tool is manufactured by Weicon in Germany who have been developing and producing high quality cable tools since 1967. The blades are manufactured using very high quality German steel for long lasting performance.

This lightweight and compact tool won’t take up much room in the toolbox or on the belt. It measures just 125mm in length and weighs only 57 grams.
