Smoke Detector Test Spray has been designed specifically for the testing of photoelectric and optical fire alarms. Engineered by Weicon in Germany, this high quality spray is very easy to use. Simply shake the can, spray towards the smoke detector for about 5 seconds and wait. If there’s no reaction, try again. Still no reaction, the unit may well be faulty.

Unlike other options, Smoke Detector Test Spay tests the entire fire alarm unit; not just the test button and alarm.

Importantly, this spray is also free of silicone and solids and evaporates without leaving behind any residue at all. This is critical as many other options (such as testing your alarm with real smoke) are not suggested as they can leave a coating that impedes the sensors in the future or even harm the electronics inside the alarm unit.

Each can of Smoke Detector Test Spray is very long lasting. One 250ml can is usually good for around 150 individual tests (depending on how much is used of course) which makes this product an ideal solution for facilities managers and those who have a lot of fire alarms to monitor.
