Our 3100 Series Adhesive PVC Foam Tape is a soft, low density grade of black, closed cell PVC foam tape designed for sealing at low compression. This grade will form a watertight seal at just 30% compression and is adhesive backed to allow for easy application. PVC Foam Tape is made using a swirl-free construction method which also allows for simple and tidy drilling or bolting through the tape after it’s been applied.
3100 Series Adhesive PVC Foam Tape offers good resistance to UV (along with dilute acids and many other liquids) which allows it to be used in outdoor areas. It’s acrylic based adhesive bonds well to most types of surfaces while it’s low compression requirements make it ideal for sealing things like windows, tanks, gutters or narrow flange faces.

Not of this particular grade. Similar grades that are available in either grey or white can be arranged upon request though.
Sea water, yes. Pool water, not long term. It’s the chlorine that’ll get to it over time.
Unfortunately, not as standard, no. This tape can be layered but we’ll be the first to admit this could be a bit messy and tricky to do accurately over long lengths.
You’ll be able to get through this with scissors or a sharp Stanley knife (box cutter) without any problems.
