Chutex Rubber is a specially developed form of Natural Rubber with excellent wear resistance. This rubber is soft, very flexible, yet also incredibly good at withstanding abrasion or tearing. Chutex is very elastic and is typically used for lining, protection, skirting or sealing.

Chutex has a bright red / pink colouring which makes it very easy to spot. Our Chutex Rubber is a premium, industrial grade rubber that has a smooth surface finish and a shore durometer hardness of 40 Shore A.

Chutex Rubber Sheet will withstand attack from mild chemicals including acids and alkalis typically used in mineral processing. It is highly elastic with an elongation at break rating of 550% (minimum).

This rubber is not particularly resistant to temperatures and has a listed range of -20°C to +70°C. Instead, Chutex Rubber is used for its excellent resistance to wear and abrasion. It has a tear strength of 60 N/mm and a listed tensile strength of 18 MPa.
